The VR experience “Aura Arbor” (hereinafter referred to as the “App”) was developed by Aura Arbor, Switzerland, email: hello@auraarbor.com (hereinafter “Aura Arbor,” “we,” or “us”).
The App may be made available directly by us or through authorized partners (hereinafter referred to as the “Publisher”).


1.2 Purpose and Objective of the App

Aura Arbor offers users a personal virtual reality environment for transformative coaching and guided self-development.
In this immersive experience, users participate in interactive sessions and reflective exercises that promote mindfulness, resilience, and personal growth within a calm, nature-inspired virtual setting.


1.3 Collection and Processing of Personal Data When Using the App

We collect and process personal data only to the extent necessary for the operation of the App and the provision of coaching functionality.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Depending on your use of the App, the following categories of data may be processed:

  • Login or identification data (e.g., name, email address, or authentication ID)

  • Technical information (e.g., device type, headset model, operating system, session duration)

  • Optional coaching data (e.g., reflections, notes, or personal goals created during coaching sessions)

Your privacy is very important to us. We do not process sensitive data such as biometric or health-related information and do not track or profile users beyond what is necessary to operate and improve the App.


2. General Information on the Processing of Your Data

2.1 Information Collected During the Download

When you download the App, certain data is automatically transmitted to the platform store (e.g., Meta Quest, Steam).
This includes information such as your username, email address, account number, time of download, payment information, and your device’s unique identifier.
These data are processed exclusively by the respective store operators according to their own terms of use and privacy policies.

2.2 Additional Automatically Collected Data

During the use of the App, certain technical data is automatically collected to ensure proper operation and security. This may include:

  • Device ID and headset type

  • Language settings and operating system version

  • Session time and duration

  • Application logs or crash reports

This data is processed solely to maintain functionality, stability, and user experience.
The processing is lawful under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in ensuring technical reliability).


3. General Rights as a Data Subject under the GDPR

Although Aura Arbor processes only minimal user data, we want to inform you of your general rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

3.1 Right to Access

You have the right to request information about the personal data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR).

3.2 Right to Rectification

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data concerning you (Art. 16 GDPR).

3.3 Right to Erasure

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or if processing is unlawful (Art. 17 GDPR).

3.4 Right to Restriction of Processing

You may request restriction of processing where the accuracy of the data is contested, or processing is unlawful but you oppose deletion (Art. 18 GDPR).

3.5 Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).

3.6 Right to Object

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or lit. f GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

3.7 Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law.
